Andrea Buchholz // Founder & Creative Director

Andrea was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia, and has had a love for arts & crafts since a very young age. Her art and craft projects were always displayed at the end of the year at her school due to her amazing creativity and passion for arts.

She went on to attend the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and graduated with a Major in Advertising and later she specialized in Marketing Management. While she didn’t take the creative advertising career path post-grad, she started a business selling Halloween costumes in her country which she has been running as the founder and as the Graphic Design and Marketing Director for the past 11 years. In 2018 she started another business called Craftica Designs where she provides design services for other businesses as well as souvenirs, garment printing etc.

Her passion for balloon installations and decorations started a few years ago when she started to decorate her kids birthday parties and other events and people couldn't stopped complementing her work without her having a background in event planning, she in the meantime had won several decorating contest where she lived and at her work place, after that she has been taking classes in balloon installations and working in the event planning field while currently working on her certifications.

As a military spouse that just moved to the island, starting up Parymakers Guam, has allowed her to take all the skills and experience obtained over the course of her life and apply it to something she can truly call her own as well as to be able to offer new and unique luxury decorations and balloon art installations for any occasion that will give that WOW factor to your party! Everything you see – from the logo to the marketing, to the social media – is designed and run by Andrea herself! She really is the heart and soul of who she is as an artist, designer, marketer and creator.
